"I don't just paint your pet — I paint the feeling of that moment. The way they looked when they were happy, scared, curious, loved. That's what makes it timeless."
Every PetSoul piece begins with your story — a photo, a memory, a feeling. Our artists don't just draw your pet. They illustrate the moment that made you smile, cry, or hold them a little tighter.
Your watercolor will be hand-illustrated on archival paper, designed to last 200+ years. Soft washes, gentle palette, visible brush strokes — the kind of art that feels like a gallery, not a gift shop.
Better photo = better illustration. Here's what works (and what doesn't).
Yes. Every order goes through a concept-sketch step where you approve (or request changes) before we paint the final piece. Our artists average 4.9★ and we offer unlimited revisions on both sketch and final. If you don't love it, full refund — 30 days.
Standard production is 10–14 days. Add Rush Production (+$20) to ship in 5–7 days. Need digital instantly? Choose Digital Only ($39) — emailed within 48h of sketch approval. We also offer Priority Proof (+$10) for 24-hour concept turnaround.
We work with what you have — even older or lower-resolution photos. Upload 1–3 photos and we'll choose the best reference (or combine details across them). See the Photo Guide tab for tips on what works best. If we genuinely can't proceed, we'll refund in full.
Yes — pick "2 pets" or more in Step 1. Each additional pet is +$20. Pets can be in the same scene or composed from separate photos. Family pets (mixed species) welcome.
Your portrait is composed and finalized by one of our verified PetSoul artists using professional illustration tools (Procreate, Photoshop, Wacom). Each piece goes through two approval stages — concept sketch and final — and is signed by the artist who completed it.
That's exactly what the concept-sketch step is for. Tell your artist what to adjust (eye color, pose, background, expression) and they'll send a revised sketch. Revisions are unlimited — we don't move to final paint until you say so.
First Snow Day — Beyond Expectations
Maya captured exactly how Charlie looked on his first snow day. The way she nailed his expression — that confused little face with snowflakes on his nose — I cried when I opened the box. The framing is gorgeous too. Worth every penny.
A Story I'll Look at Every Day
The concept review step was unexpected and amazing. Maya sent a sketch first and asked what I'd change — I requested smaller eyes (Buddy's eyes are a bit smaller than the photo) and she nailed it. The final illustration feels alive.
Gift That Made Mom Cry
Mother's Day gift for my mom — she lost her cat last year. The watercolor of Whiskers in his favorite spot by the window made her sob (in the best way). Thank you for caring so much.
